Its abby from Mr. P's pre-cal 30s class.. While we're learning this lesson, Mr. P managed to make everyone relax by doing some MATH MAGIC. Somehow it helped us not to panic and have fun at the same time while doing math... I was honestly so amazed by it at first and maybe til now because i still don't know how he can get the numbers right.. He made Neil and Bronson pick a number from 1-30 and he just asked a couple of questions that are answerable by "YES" or "NO" then there's a drum roll while he tries to figure out what number it is and then after 5 seconds (not even) , he asks the person if the number he said was right...ANYWAY....................
The goal for this lesson is to
Connect algebraic and graphical transformations of quadratic functions, using completing the square as required
There's this technique called EME sandwich
E - stands for ENGLISH and
M - stands for MATH
First: E - name your variables using English sentences
Second: M - write an equation and solve it.
Last: E - write your complete answer in complete English sentence with units.
Here's a question:
Lets say you're going to put wallpaper on 4 walls of your room. All you know is that the width of your room is 40m. try to determine the dimensions that will cover the maximum area..
*don't forget the EME TECHNIQUE
